Over two years in the making, this collaboration between Cirrus and Gamma at Call and Contact Centre Expo should have happened days into the first UK Covid lockdown in March 2020. Finally in November 2021 we unleashed this edge-lit beast upon the unsuspecting visitors!
Over 100 metres of LED strip picked out the unusual overlapping angles and the underside of the overhead rig and attracted visitors like moths to a flame.
More than 200 metres of cat6 cabling under the floor connecting eight demonstration pods, a presentation area and an interactive green-screen attraction.
All installed in just two days.
The green-screen area was originally two enclosed offices in the original design, but due to Covid we had to have a rethink.
With the show theme being ‘Contact Centre Heroes’ we utilised the space for a professional green-screen setup, where visitors could come and pose as a superhero; the camera trickery turning them into a multitude of caped crusaders!
Visitors could seethe magic happening in real time on a 70″ screen above the green-screen which was linked up to the camera kit below.
With the last minute redesign, tight schedule, and a pandemic in the mix this was a real team effort between Violet, Cirrus & Gamma, Gemini Exhibitions (our build partner) and the rest of our suppliers. After two long days it left us with the feeling that if we can pull this off we can do anything!
